One of the tightest tests of golf you will find in So. Cal. I only used my driver 3 times. This is target golf pure and simple. The native areas are all lateral and not OB, thank God. You will ride a long man made wooden bridge after the 2nd hole. This and the beautiful scenic stone hills and vistas characterize this place. The course was a bit dried out. The greens have just about healed from being punched. At 6004 yards it is short but not easy.

Good pace of play, beautiful and scenic views, fairways in great shape.

Played in an event Saturday, February 21st. Course was in beautiful condition and a pleasure to play. Tests your skills from the start and puts your ability to hit fairways at a premium! The layout is striking and should be played by anyone who can find it. Elevation changes, wooden bridges through the trees, mountain views...beautiful place! I hope someone buys the place soon and puts a little effort into the amenities. I recommend Mt. Woodson to any golfer...especially those who also appreciate natures beauty.

What a fun course to play! One of my favorites in San Diego County. Course is in good shape with very friendly staff. Unfortunately they do not have a liquor license at this time so no beer for us!

The course is in wonderful shape. They are in the process of changing owners and have no liquor license presently, so you'll have to forego the bloody Mary at the turn. Greens were excellent, about an 11. Sand traps were damp but playable. My only complaint is that they've taken out the warmup net they used to have. Played 18 in 3:45, starting at 7:15, and that included waiting 15 minutes on nr 2 for the fog to clear so that we could see the fairway.

NO ONE THERE, golf was fun greens really good, only bummer sand was hard as a metimucil turd. REally had fun didnt see anbodyelse there.........
