Played the South Yesterday the North today. North's in much better condition. Tees mostly good. #17 a little ragged. Fairways & rough are good. Greens are almost back from recent punching. You could expect a good roll from 4' to actually go in. Even the bunkers were better on the North. Looks like they had been machine raked and were consistant.

Greens are a little bumpy at times and medium in speed. Bunkers are terrible. Really compacted wet sand in most bunkers make for tough bunker shots. The rough is cut pretty short so the course isn't ... Continue »

Torrey North is in good shape. Greens are pretty smooth on the whole. The rough is cut pretty short. Worth playing right now.

There needs to be a less pricey way to get a tee time than the San Diego reservation companies that rule the area. You can get a real green fee by walking on, but that is a big risk.

got off at 2:42 barely finished at sunset.Pace is always slow her especially at the par3 6th. Greens are very nice. Fairways decent. For San Diego resident it's a great deal for $29 bucks.

The greens are about as good as their going to get except for the Buick & Jr. Worlds probably. Smooth and reasonably quick. Some very quick downhills today to tucked pins. It was fun to putt out there... Continue »

The greens are about as good as their going to get except for the Buick & Jr. Worlds probably. Smooth and reasonably quick. Some very quick downhills today to tucked pins. It was fun to putt out there for a change. Fairways are lush & cut too a good length. Best of all the rough has finally been mowed to 1 1/2 to 2 " . Pace of play was closer to 4:45. Tournament play and severe fog in the am. did slow down play a little. Overall its in very good condition now.

It's in pretty good shape. Wasn't expecting much (after just 3wks from pluging) but was very suprised at the good condition of the greens. Reasonably paced, not slow a little long but understandable after all the rains. They may be great in 7-10 days.
