I played Torrey Pines (South) on Saturday October 16th and think the course conditioning is coming along nicely. I belive the North Course currently looks like the South did a month or so ago and I can see why everyone would be complaining. The fairways and the greens on the South Course are in good shape, but the rough has several spots of overly long grass and several spots of bare ground. The course was a bit wet and the bunkers had a lot of wet sand. I think the layout is fantastic and would like to get back later in the year when it is fully recovered from the maintenance.

Absolutely terrible conditions. Terrible... Worst I've ever seen on Torrey or anywhere else.

This course is in bad shape--especially considering the price that out-of-town guests must pay. It looks like they've decided to stop watering the course--but I'm not sure why. Is turning off the water a prep for overseeding?

The greens are decent--not great, but better than they were during the middle of the summer.

i haven't played this course in years, but it is still a great layout. it's a great course for views and drives. the condition is disapointing right now. the tee boxes and servely beat up, the fairways have many bare spots and the greens were lightly sanded. not worth the green fee right now. it's hard to believe that they hold an event here every february the way it looks right now. they must do some extreme maintainance before the buick. when the course is in better condition, it's worth every penny.

Badly maintained. Worth the price as a resident - can't imagine paying tourist prices. City should not be allowed to maintain this course. It is not being maintained to reasonable standards.

They are screwing the men's club again. Not allowing seniors to get senior rate when playing in men's club. South greens in bad shape. Fairways fine. The whole atmosphere of the course is not good. Just not well kept up. Gives the feeling of Harding park during its decline.
