Great course overall. Lots of lush but tight fairways with water and sand in play. For most holes, if you can't work the ball, leave your driver in the bag. You'll just have to play nbr 14 to understand why this short little par 4 hole is the most difficult on the course! Don't count on a lot of 1-putts: the greens are not yet fully recovered from aeration 2-1/2 weeks ago, so they are slow and bumpy. Best bunker sand in the county!: snow white, soft and buttery, but beware: if your ball doesn't roll in, it's probably a fried egg lie. The clubhouse could use some TLC, but hey!, we didn't come here to sit in the clubhouse, now did we?

This is a wonderful course, I drove out here from Irvine and it was most definitely worth the drive. Awesome par 3's, quick greens, and well kept fairways make this course enjoyable and challenging. I would definitely recommend this course to any fan of golf you will not be dissapointed.. and I also just so happened to get put out with a man who works at the course and he let me play a second round for free! Can't beat that, I played two rounds on EASTER in about six hours. I don't think this course gets busy too often.

I played Woods Valley on 3-2. We were the first group off (6:15). It was great! The course was in great shape and it was plenty narrow and challenging. I would recommend it. Some people whined about the distance to the course. Come on. I drove 2 hours and it was well worth it.

Thank you for repairing your divots fellow golfers. Every time I play this course I tell myself that I need to get out here more often because it is just such a fun lay out especially for the price. The course has seemed to have been getting more and more play so the pace is not as good as it once was but not bad.

Played 12/30. Course is in great condition. From tee to green very lush. Course was crowded so pace of play was slow. Over 5hrs and finished 18th in the dark. Very challenging course. Keeping it in the fairway is a must. Plenty of water hazards and lots of OB. Bunkers in good shape with soft, fluffy sand. Greens were slower than expected so putting was a test, but ball rolled true. Got a great deal on click 4 tee times($20), but would pay rack rate to play here. Will definitely will play again.

This course is great! Absolutely a fun layout; tight and challenging, but not gimmicky. We played on Sunday the 7th of December with a 10:45 tee time and finished in just over 4 hrs. For the price, I have never played a better course. If you enjoy the combination of golf and nature with as minimal of housing as possible, then this course may be for you.

This course is a bit of a drive for myself. The course is in unbelievably great shape. It gets county club status most definetly because there is not a lot of people that drive here to play. It is pretty far from pretty much anything ;it's out in the hills. but on GolfNow tee times for 30 bucks is hard to pass up. Worth the Drive. The course from tee box to green is just about superb! If you don't play on the PGA tour leave your driver in the bag, very easy to lose lots of balls. when you go out to this course it is a MUST that you use your smart game, this is a thinking course. We found ourselves teeing off with long irons almost all day. Some of the most beautiful holes in southern california (genius design). If this course was in the city, you would easily be charged over $100 during the week to play, it kills some of the nicer course around san diego, yet it is very affordable, make the drive. it's worth it, you'll be telling your friends what a gem this track is and how challenging it is as well
