Played early 12/13.Woods Valley is a very nice track, just not right now. OK, greens are good, a few marks, fairways are getting better,but some are a swamp,some are sparse,no grass,some are way too thin,mud,,, tee boxes and all that are OK,Staff is as usual very good. I did have fun,I did not get upset as I was at Harrahs for a couple of days and this was a nice break, but rumers are they are selling,I do hope they do something fast, its a fun course, but not right now.

Played it for first time, tournament play. Impressed with condition, and playability of the course.

All recent feedback on Woods Valley correct.I love this place,the layout is fun,greens right now are fast and in good shape, some pock marks but smooth,tee boxes are a mess, but work is ongoing,fairways are wet,some bare spots,big bare spots,grass in fairways is sparse. Staff is the best. Had a good time,played fairways GUR and the day was terrific. In a month they will have the place like it should be. Lots of workers on the job. Wait a month unless you live close.

On the positive side, this is a terrific layout surrounded by hills (and new homes). The greens are nice and firm and roll pretty well despite moderate ball mark damage. Also, my buddy and I played as a twosome and finished in about 3 1/2 hours after teeing off late morning on a Sunday.

Unfortunately, the big negative here is the awful condition of the fairways. I don't know what happened (they claim it is due to hot weather), but virtually every fairway is very thin and many fairways have large patches of dirt or mud in the landing areas. All the fairways were roped off except 17, and are scheduled to be until November 1. I hope this helps.

I also heard a rumor that the course is for sale. If this is true, I think the right owner could turn Woods Valley into a magnificent golf course.

Newer course, greens are thin in many areas, fairway also thin in some areas. Overall I like the layout it has some great views, and some great holes. I think it will only get better with time.

someone should tell the management to turn the water on the fairways when its 100*+ outside. the fairways are absolutely horrible and the greens aren't much better.....

Great course, one of the few courses in North County that's got better than decent Greens.
Although 15th Green is terrible... Other than this 1hole, remaining 17s' condition are great.

Friendly staff and above average service that most don't experience at $$ level courses.
Bit on the short side, but for average Wknd Golfer, it's good enough length.
Go experience Woods Valley and you'll want to go back again.
