Played Sunday 10/7 on Creekside/Canyon Crest. played at 1pm finished in a little over 4 hours. Got a great rate from golfnow at $50 per player prepaid special. I have played here several times and i always enjoy the layout. Its challenging but fair and not overdone as some difficult courses can be. If you hit a good shot you will be rewarded. Conditions were outstanding tee to green. Only complaint was the greens were soft and spongy, felt like everyone that steeped on the greens all day left spike marks. Surprisingly they rolled true and medium to fast.

Played here yesterday and all I can say is "WOW" They host a couple of our tournaments every year and I'm glad we get to play here. First the service, I was there early and could not find a cup of coffee anywhere, but the guy behind the counter in the Pro shop whent out of his way and got me a cup! That's class! Now the course. We played Ridgeline and then Canyon courses. The only difference between these two were the T boxes. Canyon's have been punched with big holes but that was it. The fairway were perfect, the ruff in some places was a little tall but playable and the greens were rolling and smooth. A little slow in the early am, 8:30 but firmed up nicely in by early afternoon. 11:30. Overall it was a first class experience and a joy to play.

have always enjoyed my round here at Moorpark. The course is usually in great shape and the staff quite responsive and friendly. As most of us know, they are a stickler for on time tee time. So when we were approached if we wanted to tee off earlier.. we said YES!! turns out, we were teeing off 2 mins earlier. hahaha... we had a laugh on that one.

We used a discount deal for unlimited play - and we played basically all 3 9s at pretty much 50% off their rack rate. I guess a lot of people did the same as the course was packed. Considering the number of people, the pace was pretty decent. Finished 27 in a little over 5 hours. We had a little problem on the course and as soon as the marshall was called, he was there in a matter of minutes. Awesome customer service!!

Course was in excellent shape. Was a bit disappointed on the greens as we saw and repaired quite a few ball marks (mostly not ours) - not at all the problem with the course greenskeeper but more with players.

Overall - quite an experience everytime we come out here. Definitely will be back.

The club house was lovely and the range and putting green where laid out well.

The starter was very friendly and gave all the normal info and rules, and off i went to some amazing views and a great mixture of elevated tee shots to some blind shots also

There course was just perfect condition and my only issue was the slow speed of the greens which i had to battle through out the round, i only wish that people would fix their pitch marks on the greens as they looked wonderful and the staff have done a wonderful job.

Pace of play was good and i would say to anyone that if you find a pre paid deal, snap it up and also bring your camera for some stunning views.

My foursome played yesterday (tuesday morning 0800) with a living social deal. Got out about 15 minutes early. First time here and we played canyon crest/creekside. Canyon definitely a little easier as it is shorter and much wider fairways. Both nines were in great shape and it was definitely worth the drive and the $$. The only drawback was that the driving range and restaurant was closed when we arrived and didn't open until later. That being said, we ate in the bar after the round and the food was very good.

Played here on Saturday 7/21 teed off between 7 and 8, conditions were very good, went with a friend and was paired up with another twosome that were extremely slow and low on golf conduct. Apparently the rangers let members go out as twosomes on the weekends, if made for a horrible rhythm/pace of play. Played in four and a half, but it felt like six and a half, tough call for the price and distance on the weekend.

Played with a Living Social voucher at 11:45 this morning and got paired with a member. Ended up playing the white tees on the Ridgeline and Canyon Crest 9's. The greens and fairways were very soft but played very well. The pace of play was normal with three cart girl meetings. This course was great and the conditions were awesome. My only complaints were that the starter people did not seem very customer focused (didn't explain anything after I told them it was my first time) and that the course is pricey if you don't have a good deal. I can't wait to get back and play here!

Played Saturday 6/16. 11:30 tee time, played Creekside then Ridgeline at a great pace in 4 1/2 hours. Conditions were outstanding as usual at MP. Fairways are a pleasure to hit from when you can find them from the tee, lush with very few divots. The rough was dense, consistent and cut to about 1 to 2 inches. Greens rolled true and were medium to fast with very few ball marks. Overall great layout with fantastic conditions and great pace of play.
