My family and I went out on 6/2 to play wolf creek with a 630 AM tee time. We play here the first Friday of June every year. I booked the tee time in February for $135 as last year the was 3 days of tournaments on the first weekend of June. This year we were what seemed to be the only non Tournament group to play and we had about an hour head start on the Tourney and had the course to ourselves never coming with in 4-5 holes of the shotgun start. If you play anywhere with no wait this is the course to be on. My brother will probably talk about the amazing amount of Pro V1's he found on the course and we took extra shots here and there. POP was about 4.5 for us.

After reading Robs review it was looking like a picture perfect golf day and fun outing. Unfortunately the course decided to aerate 13 of 14 fairways in the week between when Rob was there and us so it took the conditions down a notch. The course was still visually stunning and green but some funky lies in the fairways were a possibility. The aeration holes were about 3-5 inches apart and filled perfectly it just took a little extra attention when making a shot. It also seemed that they did not change the tee locations for a couple days as there were a few tee's chewed up.

Everything else was great and well manicured with the greens being soft and a little slow for my liking. The course was well watered due to the aeration and that caused the sand to be wet which was not a problem for me as I only ended up in one Trap. The same could not be said for my family they loved the beach.

In all $135 is a great price for a Friday in early June to play this masterpiece and regardless of the aeration I would pay to play anytime.

Played on Monday, 5/22, with a 7:50 tee time, as a 3some. Paid $135 and was completely worth it.

Course was in the best condition of the 4 times I've played it. Tee boxes level and in great shape. Lush carpet like fairways. Rough was about 1.5 to 2 inches, just long enough to cause some trouble. Bunkers were a little mix. Holes in the canyons had soft fluffy white sand while the holes along the ridge and more exposed to the wind had hard packed, crispy bunkers. Greens were just spectacular. Fastest I have seen them, smooth, with little amount of ball markers.

I love this course. Every hole offers something new and with a great view. While it can be short from the white tees, if there is any wind, it becomes very difficult. Bucket list course.

I never believed in Heaven on earth until I played Wolf Creek. By far the most fun and scenic course I have played. I don't know how anyone could have a bad time here, the course is perfect, the staff is awesome, the food is great and the beer is cold. I have had many friends suggest Wolf Creek to me, so my expectations were very high, and the first thing I did when I finished my round was call them and thank them. If you have a bad time at Wolf Creek, you don't know what a good time is. Don't need to be long off the tee, mostly target golf which makes the Wolf Creek GPS app very helpful, and once you are on the green, get ready to have some fun. Only an hour outside of Las Vegas, and worth every minute of the drive, you won't want to leave. In fact, if you don't want to leave, take advantage of their $45 replay rate (Hottest deal in town). The maintenance that it must take to upkeep the place has to be ridiculous, but they do a fantastic job. Every employee I talked to made me feel welcomed, the golf shop staff, the restaurant staff, outside services, and I even had a maintenance guy stop on his way bye to see how my day was going. You won't find a course or staff like theirs anywhere which is why Wolf Creek is a must play!!! You can call and thank me later.

Came out and played with 3 good friends in late December. Greens were very fun and fast compared to when I played it in the summer heat and they had to keep them a little longer. I played really good which makes a huge difference how you feel about the course. The elevated tees make you feel like there's always a small landing area but much more room than you think. First time I played the course I mentally struggled to get by 2, 3, 8, 10, 14...ok half the holes. They aren't as bad but can still be a struggle if you haven't swung the club in a while in the cold midwest.

Made the trip over to play this course with my friends. The staff informed me they were preparing to over seed. The course wasn't as green as normal but that is to be expected at this time of year. The ball sat up in the fairways even while the prep work was going on. The views were every bit as exciting as I remembered, worth the trip, in my opinion. Speed of play was good as the helpful staff kept things moving along. The greens were in great condition. Price was fair for this time of year. Can't wait to play again once the over seeding process is complete. Overall, my friends and I had a great time and will come back again.

This is not a normal review as I did not get to play the course. I had a tee time on Sunday July 31 at 6:55 a.m. When I arrived a staff person came out to my car to what I thought was to get my clubs, but all he was able to do was give me some bad news, the course had received a huge storm at 2:30 am which caused mud to close down some cart paths and it also ran onto some of the greens. I do not know the extent of the damage to the greens, but it was enough to close the course and they were hoping that they could open at least 9 holes later that day, but only hoping. the club house had it share of disappointed golfers, along with myself. They did call and see if any other courses could accommodate any of us. and did get me a tee time at Conestoga. The staff was very kind and could tell they felt bad for us that traveled early in the morning to play here. I will be back to experience this course for the first time.

It's been 2 years since I've last played here, so needless to say I was pretty excited rolling into town Wednesday night. The expectations were met with flying colors (as they always are here).

Got out right at 8am, and were told to expect a slow day because of a few "old geezers in 4 somes" as the cart guy put it. We didn't actually catch these guys until number 9, but we did play with someone who had never been to the course before and was from Australia. He was taking quite a few pictures because of the beauty of this course. Can't say that I blame him or that it bothered us at all since we did the same thing the first time we played here. Back 9 was quite a bit slower as there were several 4-somes ahead of us. Roasting in the sun an understatement. PoP = 5 rating (average). Can't complain when you know what you're getting into from the start.

Boxes - 8/10. Few spots could use watering and a little sand, but overall they were in great condition. Always found a flat lie and plenty of grass. Few of them probably could have used a mow, but I personally would rather have more grass than none at all. Dark green and not bare at all.

Greens - 8/10. I wish I could go higher, but we played 36. First round they were fast and true, second round (not too many people behind us) they were considerably slower and had some funky breaks. Not sure if they were watering behind us after the first round, but it just seemed as though the second round were not quite a true as the first. Overall - I would have zero problem recommending them or playing again.

Bunkers - 4/10. The one problem area for me here. While they looked nice and pretty, filled with white sand, when you got into them they were hard panned. Did not have one fluffy bunker all day. It seemed as though they watered them too much in the morning and then it dried hard. Did have one time where my partner was in the bunker and the maintenance guys didn't even bother to stop cutting the lip when he was hitting - not good etiquette if you ask me.

Fairways - 8/10. Nice and green. Some places were a little thin and had some browning spots, but overall they were in pretty good shape. No complaints whatsoever here.

Overall I would HIGHLY recommend this course to anyone. I've only ever played in the middle of summer, so I don't know how awesome it is in fall/winter, but I can only imagine. If you're even on the fence about this place, make it happen.

Mesquite has been mentioned in several local golf publications for affordable high quality golf. It did not disappoint for me and my buddies. The entrance wasn't all that special, but I challenge any golfer to stand on that first tee and not say WOW!. You can throw traditional golf out the window. The elevated tee boxes and the slivers of green they call fairways are awesome. Actually there is room off the tee and if you drive it straight you can score well. It is a picturesque course that is maintained very well. The greens are not lightning but with all the undulations on the greens I am happy they aren't running at 11. It was 110 degrees when I played and the staff made sure we had wet towels and water all day. We played in a little over 5 hours and enjoyed every bit of it. I highly recommend playing in the summer with the reduced green fees.

Just a Quick review. While out in Vegas for a bowling tourney i went and played Wolf creek with my family for my birthday. This is the second time playing this course and I am still impressed with the beauty and layout of this course. Tee to green every thing was immaculate. the greens were soft and rolling medium fast at what the starter said 10.5. We had a few green lightning fast down hill and a few that were not as much. IN all they do a great job keeping this course very nice and all the amenities were just as great. One cool note was they took a picture of your group on the first hole and by the time you make the turn they have it in a wood plaque very nice. they did ask for $20 but it was totally worth it seen how this was the first time my dad had gone out and played golf with my brothers and I in at least 10-15 years. Nice to have that memory
