Nice pratice facility, a small bucket was over 60 balls. This coures was in resonable shape but the rough was thin and so were the greens in a few spots. Nothing really remarkable about this course so it wasn't really worth the hour drive to get there.

This course used to be called Phantom Horse. The layout is the same and it is still in great shape. There are some real water challenges and a few holes where you can go for it. The club house and putting green are gone. The driving range uses restricted flight balls which allow you to warm up but I dont like them.

This course is in excellent shape. THe only detractor was some water in the sand traps but that can be expected with all the rain tha day before. Greens are very nice and the entire course is great. The views of the Superstition Mountains add to the setting. Well worth the SWPGA pass price.

Course was in good shape. Fairways and greens look good after the ovrseed. The greens are large but not very fast. Six different pin placements listed on score card was a nice feature. Lots of trees on each side of the fairway can make recovery from a wayward shot difficult. This course is a good value for this time of the year.

Picked up this tee time on line for $21. This course was in OK shape. It had rained the past couple of days but the course had no standing water of real muddy spots. The fairways were a little on the thin side allong with the greens. Looks like the overseed needs a little more time. The layout was good ant the sand in the traps was quite fluffy. The fairways are narrow with no over seed for the rough. The driving range is closed on Tuesdays mornings till the maintenance is completed so we couldn't warm up. There is a nice chipping area though. This was well worth the fee.

This course has recently re-opened after a renovation and they did an excellent job on the redesign. The course is narrow with well placed bunkers. There is contour to the greens and a few of the holes require a real risk/reward decision off the tee. This course will be fantastic once it has a chance to grow in and mature. The customer service was the finest I have seen in any course. The staff in the pro shop, starters and on course staff were frendly and polite.

This is an excellent course. The greens are some of the fastest I have ever played. You definitly have to be under the hole for the best chance at making a putt. The fairways were a little dry but thay were preparing for overseed next week. This course is one to play if you have the chance. The staff were professional and helpfull.

This is an excellent course. It is in great shape and the holes are challenging. Bunkers are well placed and some are deep. The greens were rolling true, at a 9 acording to the club house. There were quite a few greens that you had to be on the right level or you had a tough put. Much more enjoyable that just hitting into a large flat green.

I was severly disapointed with this course. We always ask when making a tee time about the condition of the course. We were told that one 9 was closed and the others were in good shape. Well the course was in terrible shape. The greens were being top dressed with sand while we were playing (he was one hole in front of us the whole way) and of course it was never mentioned by the starter or the staff in the pro shop that this was happening today. Some of the tee boxes had grass longer than the rough and others had large bare spots on them. There were no balls on the driving range and the pratice green had no markeres on it. I had a yardage book but for the life of me I had a hard time finding sprinkler heads with yardages on them. I have played quite a few Troon managed courses and this was the worst.

Played this one with a coupon off the web site for $38. This course was in the best shape of any I played all summer. Cattail was definatly worth the green fee. The only comment is the desert around the course is being worked on so if you hit one out there you can treat it as groun under repair by local rule. This course also has an excellent pratice facility. Large putting green, nice chipping area to go along with the driving range.

This course was in great shape for the summer. Greens were somewhat fast and puts held their line. The sand traps were the only low light of this round. The sand is very course and seems to be packed down. It is just like hitting off the desert areas. It was well worht the SWPGA Pass green fee.

Played the blue and white 9's. The customer service was excellent with a very friendly staff. This is one of my favorite courses. It takes a little thought when playing and is not just a grip it and rip it course. The condition is not as good as I've seen it in previous outings. Seems to have taken a little beating from the summer monsoon. Also they were doing somekind of maintenance on the aprons for the greens so they were a little rough. There wern't a lot of people on the course so we finished in 3.5 hours.
