It did not disappoint for me and my buddies. The entrance wasn't all that special, but I challenge any golfer to stand on that first tee and not say WOW!. You can throw traditional golf out the window. The elevated tee boxes and the slivers of green they call fairways are awesome. Actually there is room off the tee and if you drive it straight you can score well. It is a picturesque course that is maintained very well. The greens are not lightning but with all the undulations on the greens I am happy they aren't running at 11. It was 110 degrees when I played and the staff made sure we had wet towels and water all day. We played in a little over 5 hours and enjoyed every bit of it. I highly recommend playing in the summer with the reduced green fees.
