Great course and staff, one of my favorites!

Played on thur 4-29-04, course is in great shape other than the greens. The freakin golfers out here do not like to fix their ball marks or rake the sand traps. I must have fixed 2 or 3 ball marks a green. Some of these guys should read "Golf for Dummies" by Gary McCord or "Golf Rules and Etiquette for Dummies" by John Steinbreder, and learn how to take care of a golf course. It is really sad how bad some of the greens are. I even understand they have one greenskeeper guy going around trying to keep up with repairing all the ball marks. Other than that I love playing here. Staff is always great and very nice.

Greens were in good shape and very fast. They were starting to aerate some of the fairways while we were playing. Play was slow. Took us 4 3/4 hours. Group in front was a hole and half behind. They were very slow. We waited on every hole for them. Mentioned it to the Marshall and he must not have said anything to them cause it never got any better. Was not good! On the bright side, the new clubhouse etc is very nice!

Played 1-26-04 and the course is in the best shape I've seen in awhile. Last time I played there was about 6 mos ago and there is no comparison. Greens were just great! San Juan Hills is now a must play!

Played 1-4-04, 9:20. Not busy at all. No one in front of us and a twosome behind us. Greens were in very good shape. Med to fast. Fairways were a little brown but probably because of the recent cold weather. They were aerating alot of the fairways and rough and those darn plugs were everywhere, especially on the back nine. Made playing a little bit of a pain. Friendly staff. We had the golf extra discount so our foursome played at 1/2 off the normal rate of $95.00. We all agreed it was a nice course but not worth $95 on a monday. We will only play with a golfextra discount. The $95 weekday rates at some of these Orange country courses got to go!!!!!

Played 8-11-03 at 8:20AM, Course is very nice and in good shape. Greens were in pretty good shape and fast. Used our Golfextra discount so it was only $47.50. Regularly $95.00. All in our group agreed It is not worth $95.00 for a mon-thur play. Everything is expensenive, example: hot dog and chips were 7.00 and by the time you get something to drink and tip, your paying over $10.00. Most of the staff not all that friendly except for the snack bar girls. We will only go back if we have a 50% off coupon.

Played on 7-18-03 at 4:00pm. Course is in good shape. Greens were slow for afternoon play. Got done in 3hrs and 50min!! They have new carts which were really nice. New club house is completely framed and looks like it is going to be a nice one. Supposed to be done by Nov.
