Played 3/20, and they improved the course condition much better than a year ago and since my last visit the end of last year. Greens, Fairways and tee box very manicure (except South Hole #2 green still have some patch work). Repairing North Hole #6 left green side bunker. Very helpful golf shop, starter and great snack bar staff.
Only bad experiience was the club house restaurant dinner service - UN EXCEPTABLE!!!! - bad service, not enough waiteress and bar tenders and very very slow service. Avoid this restaurant during the dinner time when you stay overnight to play at Pala Mesa.

Played 3/2, fairway condition no good. many bare spots. Par 4 holes short but some fairways are narrow. Green condition good. Everything rolls to East side. Pace very slow - almost 6 hrs.

Played 2/18 Monday-President's day holiday. One of the long muni course. Green condition good. Fairway condition hard as concrete - always this time of the year. Not many doglegs, pretty much straight but many bunkers awaits you. They must have put new sands in all the bunkers - they were very soft. Pro Shop staff - Good customer service .

Played 2/10, beautiful Sunday. Greens are always well manicure. Fun course to play. Only problems were our schedule tee time not on time(30 minutes late) and pace of the play little more than 5hrs and 30minutes to finish the round. You have to expect more than 5hrs. to play on this course on weekends.

Played 10/28, first time to play at Mt. Meadows. Thanks to the GK's course tips try to find where to hit the ball. Greens conditions were good, except Hole #10 (probably by next weekend, it should be in good condition). Fun course to play. Will be back soon.

too many trash on the fairway from the 1st hole to the last hole. They used the course for the parking lot for the college football game @ Rose Bowl = Tail gate party. Trash every where on the fairway - empty cans, beer bottle caps, used bbq charcols, broken glasses, ice from the ice chest. Why don't management clean up??!!! The golf course should give us some discount to us for playing in such a bad condition.
It is a nice golf course and challengin greens w/good condition.
Instead of Marshalls we need Park Rangers to keep this course safe.
Like to return after and before the college football season.

Played 9/29, Saturday morning. Overall the course is in good condition, except some tee boxes are fixing and if they can level them correctly will be great. Greens are in good conditon and challenging. Need to bring your good short game skills.
Staffs are good and well managed.

Played 9/22. Very Disappointed. Personally like the course design and looks of the course. but the course condition was not good, bad and ugly - greens were bumpy, especially South side 9 holes were terrible. Many greens had a large bare spots and look very ugly. Fairways condition was thin. Expected better condition for semi-resort standard and for paying mucho $$$ to play. Come on Pala Mesa, Wake Up!

Played 9/15 before noon. All the conditions were good. All Greens were great and not many unrepair divots (unusal for the public course lately). Marshall was around the course all the time (saw him three times within our round) and providing us a nice ice cold water from the cooler. My favorite is Hole #14 (dogleg to the Right), short par 4.

Good public golf course - not too long or not too short. Many up and down slopes. No major hazards - you don't have to worry too much water or sand traps. Golf cart equipped with GPS. Got nice practice green and chipping area.

Today was my fourth time to play at DB. Each time the condition of the course is getting better. Condition of the greens and Bunkers were fair. Nice course layout, except early morning weekday rounds come with freeway traffic noise. Hope the DB management keep up their good job.
