PLayed in a tourney on 6-15, wonderful staff, very accomidating and first class. The course was fast and dry in good condition and a heck of a lot of wind today. Greens are fast but true, make sure you get on the right side of these greens or your in for a long day of putting. They are allowing carts in the fairways now, not sure I like it due to it taking a lot of lushness away from the fairways. This course is not difficult to walk, and I would recommend you walk just to get a good feel of this great links style course.

Sealskinz.. Not sure what your complaint is. Just played on 6-7 and course was great. They did just work on the greens but not as poor as you described and as far as the rakes, come on, at least they tried something different and I had no problems with the two I needed to use. Maybe stay out of most of the 200 traps on that course. As far as the heat, what the hell did you expect at this time of the year, 75 and cool?. Im used to playing excellent courses on the central coast that are not too crowded, and by no means was that course terrible or a big dissapointment. I will be back on the 25th for another wonderful experience.

Played after really heavy rains the day before, course drained very well. Greens were soft but lots of un repaired ball marks and divots, come on people fix it. At almost every green, I repaired at least two or three fresh ball marks. Course was very lush all around and for a $30.00 rate for twi-lite you cant beat that

played on Friday morning, got on no problem, staff was very good all around. Played the front nine alone with no waiting. Course is very good right now greens are not as fast as a few weeks ago but still deadly if you dont place it in the right spot. Course is very fair but takes a few times to learn where to hit the ball and save strokes. Anything off the greens and in the ruff spells serious trouble. I love this course and cant wait till the summer for the greens to mature.

This course has been through a rough winter and did not hold up well. The tee boxes are not mowed, the fairways and the ruff are hard to tell apart, and the greens were the slowest and bumpiest I have ever played. If not for the price and the fact that my buddy works in the pro shop, I would not return to this place. The squirrells outnumbered the golfers, somebody call a rodent killer.

Played on 4-15 with a break in the weather around here. This course is fantastic from tee to green. Fairways are perfect, greens are very hard and fast which means your approach shots must be placed in the proper location or you can easily three putt. I love this new course. The contours of the fairways and bunkers are unlike anything I have ever seen at a golf course. pace of play was terrific, finished round in less than 41/2 hourse with no rushing.

Played on 3-10 in between downpours and hail. The course held up very well after a strong overnight rain. Course is in great shape for winter conditions, especially since its been so damm cold in this area over the past month. Fairways are thin but green, which is nothing new here since the fairways are always cut low even in the summer. Greens ran true and were soft. Not very many people out there due to the weather so we got done fast. As soon as we placed the clubs in the car a nice strong hail storm showed up. This course has always been in great shape no matter what time of the year.

Played on a saturday afternoon as a walk on single while course was extremely busy. Starter allowed me to get with a threesome teeing off on #10, very nice since I would have had to wait approx one hour to start. Course was in good shape for winter conditions, greens were pretty decent with a lot of ball marks, fairways were good. Pace of play was slow but expected for a nice saturday. Not a long course but still challenging and fun.

The wait is over. This course has been open for only seven days now and was definitely worth the hype. True links style course with many natural contours and bunkering surrounding the greens and fairways. Water comes into play on several holes, especially #4 which is a dog leg right par 5 with water on the right and around the elevated green. #8 is a long downhill par three with water in front and a elevated green also, very tough green. All of the par 5's on this course play tough even though some are not very long. Dont be fooled by the yardage on the par three's, very tough due to the bunkering and mounds. #10 is a beast, with a split fairway and long second shot to a up hill green. Overall our group was very pleased with this wonderful new course and will be back for sure. USGA is coming later this month to rate the course and to place the yardage markers on the sprinkler heads which will help. Great experience all around, plus the grill is superb. come and play this thinking man's course for sure.

Got on early the day after thanksgiving as a single. Played with several locals who were playing from the tips which was an experience since it was the first time on this course. Fairways and greens were in great condition with some heavy watering which is expected that early in the morning. Par 3's are very tough from the tips here with good bunkering and hazards. Overall the course was very much worth the price and can be even better if you get on their e-mail list.

played on 10-6. At this time only canyon and oaks is being played. The canyon fairways and tee boxes are currently being treated to remove cacua? grass which meant that the fairways and tee boxes are severely tore up. no break on the greens fees so be warned cause they are going to tear up the lakes and oaks very soon. greens were the bright spot

Showed up at 7am as a single on a saturday and got on at 0745. staff at the clubhouse was more than helpful and friendly and got me right on. I have never played here but was paired with someone who plays here often which helped tremendousley. for those who dont have course knowledge, i recommend a yardage book due to the blind shots and severe elevation changes. from the first tee i knew that this course was going to be fun and challenging. the views are more than specta cular and whats really nice is that no homes are seen. Keep the ball in the fairway and use good course management and you will score well at this tough but fair course.
