It was a warm day today (90). There is no water on the course to drink and no beverage cart!

The fairways are like an old cow pasture that has been cut and given a little water. Where you don’t have weeds, you have dirt. There is very little in the way of yardage markers, and when you do find the few marked on the cart path, they are not consistent in their paint color, using red for 150 yards and 100 yards. Lack of maintenance is also evident in the poor condition club house with the same urinal that was out of order when I played the two years ago, is still out of order!!

We enjoyed the new holes/layout and would definitely come back and play it again. Our main complaint was having to listen to the cart staff squabble as we arrived at the course and were loading our carts. It was extremely unprofessional. Also, on an almost 100 degree day, I would expect to see drinking water on the course. An employee came around at the 15th hole with drinking water and asked if we needed to refill our water bottles.

A fun and challenging course - worth the trip.

The greens for holes 1 – 15 still show major signs of aeration (like rows of deep pitch marks across the greens). Only holes 16 – 18 have healed. Some areas in the fairways are turning brown, but overall the course is in pretty good shape.
