Played Dos Lagos Friday March 28th. Check in was smooth and off to the 1st tee we go. Check in with the starter and wait for the group in front of us to tee off. As I look around at the back 9 I notice its not too busy and play seems to be moving along. Not much of a breeze either.

Tee boxes were a bit chewed up, nothing too bad though. Greens were a not fast but not slow either. Fairways were in decent shape some thin spots but again nothing too bad. Lots of uneven lies. POP was extremely slow (5.5hrs). Group in front of us had a guy that must have been playing his first round. One of them also brought along their son for a ride along. Water on the front had all but dried up. Cart girl made sure we were hydrated. Back 9, by the time we got there, the wind had picked up making for a longer stretch of holes than anticipated.

Overall, course was in decent shape. Can't complain much for the price $33 @ 9am. Course does get heavy traffic. I believe they were getting ready to punch the greens in the coming week or so. All in all, not bang for the buck. Course is tight and does have quite a bit of elevation changes. Wind does not help much here. Tough little course tee to green. Greens not overly challenging.

Played here on 8/22, sorry for the late review. It was a bachelor party and there were 6 of us, two threesomes. Early morning tee off about 8am.

First thought was, wow this looks like a decent course up here. Fairways were green, rough was solid and greens were kept up. Tee boxes could use some leveling, other than that not much to complain about.

Course is fairly narrow playing in between cabins, except for hole 4 with the elevated tee and wide open fairway, just don't go left as you will end up in the driving range. Some uneven lies outside the fairways, but that's why its called rough, right? Green were in good shape, pretty quick. Sand hard packed. Played 18 was done in about 4hrs.

Never played here and would only really see it in the winter when its covered or becoming uncovered from snow. Price may have been a bit steep for it but hey when you wanna play in the mountains you don't have a lot of choices. I think we paid $60 for 18 and cart. Exceptional views, relaxed feel, and just a good time.

Played Arroyo Trabuco on 3/24. Had won a 4-some from an American Cancer Society tournament and needed to use it before April. 8:30am tee time. Shop staff is courteous. Starter a little salty. Course has 5 sets of tees and measures over 7,000yds from the tips.

First thing I noticed was how narrow the course was. They have a sign that suggests, based on handicap what tees you play from. Fairways were in good shape. Rough wasn't too thick and wouldn't really hold a shot if you were running through. The greens are in decent shape, except say 3-4. In particular, #8. Green was awful. Much patch work and sand it was like playing a bunker while putting. We played a max 2 putt due to the condition of the green.

Overall a nice course a bit pricey and probably wouldn't pay the $75+ per round if given the choice but since it was free a great course. Narrow so keep it in the fairways and make sure you hit greens. Challenging greens, many tiered and lots of slope to them. Played in just over 4 hours playing from 3 sets of tees.
