The course is well maintained. The fairways are wide with a few bunkers. I would consider this a friendly resort course. The greens were a little slow, but in good shape. The pro shop staff is very helpful and were very friendly. The young ladies driving around the course with the food cart were working very hard to be sure they passed us often. The food was fresh and good.

We've been coming to this area every May for about 10 years. This is our very favorite course. The third and sixth holes have a small creek to get over. There are a couple of small ponds and lakes to also navigate. It's just plain fun. The staff in the pro shop are excellent. They definitely aim to please. The food is very good and the staff is very attentive. The course, pro shop and restaurant are all very well maintained. There is definite pride of ownership.

We played this course in Sept. 2010. I liked the course. It's interesting and challenging, but fun. The fairways were good and the greens were great. The rough was very thick. The staff was great. There was some fog in the morning, but it burned off quickly. Our tee times were between 10 and 11 a.m. and we had no problem with fog. They don't have a snack bar, but do have hot dogs and beverages. I will go back

It's always a pleasure going to Castle Oaks. The course is well maintained.
