Golf Course Reviews: California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Utah, Florida, Hawaii!Golf course can to use to be a solid lay out with good variety. Unfortunately that is where the positive review ends. Had 6:09am tee time on Friday 5/8. We arrived at 5:30am to locked doors at the golf shop. Cart guy was there staging carts and said someone should be there by 6:00am. Shop opened at 6:01am with an employee clearly in no rush to help us. This left us to pay fees, load onto our carts, have all four of us sign in with starter (Glen Ivy policy), drive to tee and tee off in eight minutes. We managed to hit our tee shots by 6:15am. I say all of this due to the “slow play” alert we received on the fourth hole. Like we were a problem. We walked off the 18th hole at 10:05am. Hadn’t seen the group behind us since the 7th hole.
On the course conditions: From history new the 5th green may not be in great shape but the front nine greens and fairways were definitely spotty and needed love. A good sized dirt patch on 9th green needed sodding instead they are attempting to use plugs which will take much longer to heal. Back nine was much better as greens were consistent as well as fairways are much better condition than the front.
Lastly the boundary system to keep carts away from greens and native areas needs to be adjusted. No less than three times did the system stop our cart and direct us reverse out of area, the problem was we were driving on the cart path. Overall a negative experience.

Absolutely will not return. Greens did not come out of aerification in any type of shape. I’ve seen cobble stone roads smoother than these. Bunkers with zero sand, so if you did happen to get in one it was a hope for the best with your bunker shot. Just a shame after being charged $85.00. Zero value!
GOAT RANCH at Best!
Played first out so pace of play was not an issue. That was the only positive. Starter once again appeared to be bothered that we were there. Read a review from July saying fairway dirt spots had grown in. Very true unfortunately the growth are WEEDS throughout. Weeds in fairways and rough and I’m not talking clover. The only place there weren’t weeds were in the rock hard bunkers. Greens were slow probably stimping 6-8 at best. It is clear that this is a mow and blow course. Certainly no effort given to maintain quality for the price of green fee. Will avoid playing for a very long time.

HORRIBLE SHAPE. Understanding courses are punching greens this time of year we asked if they had aerified recently. They said in August. As we checked in we asked condition of greens and course. Response was “punching fairways so they may be rough and greens have slight Fungus issue on some edges.” Well the punched fairways would have been ok if they had bothered to mow plugs instead of just leave them fairway creating very muddy conditions. Greens complex’s have Fungus not just on edges but throughout entire green. Roughly 75% of greens severely affected. No value for the green fee we paid. Course may be back in shape in spring of 2022. Avoid at all cost.
