Played Saturday May 28, 2016 (7:04am). Foursome POP 3-1/2 hr. First time we've been here and we had a blast! Played from the TEAL (Blue) about 6300 yds, only needed Driver once. Course still in great shape as the snowbirds fly the flock out of Palm Springs for the summer. Greens in great shape maybe a little slow - Around the greens you can putt from a few yards out (in front) if approach a bit short - Fairways not bare at all from what I remember - Rough deep enough for ball too nestle down but not penalizing - Designed with plenty of shade! although it was only 82 at 11am - Fairway Bunkers firm not much sand (hooray) - Greenside bunkers playable with a normal blast - Tee Boxes some had build-up mounds but good for the most part - Water not in play much. The South course has very few houses (North course has bunches) so grip it and rip it. Overall very pretty golf course, nice views, fun resort-level course (slope 120 from Teal) and a pleasure to play! Cart girl has everything you need for some morning swing lube.
