I wasn't going to play this course because I felt the $115 was too much, fortunately got on for $65 with golfnow. For the golfnow price, it was worth it. Course was in great shape with rolling true and fast. The layout did not wow me but the course was fun to play. It’s a traditional back to the 50’s type desert layout. Has a country club feel to it. Pretty generous off the tee and the greens are well guarded by bunkers. The fairways where lush and in great shape. Excellent Pace of Play finished in 4 hrs.

Played PGA West TPC Stadium Course Friday and it kicked my butt. Greens were running fast and true and the rest of the course was immaculate with exception to the rough. I loved the contrast of the dormant bermuda rough with the lush green fairways although. It felt like we got around in 4 hours but actually it was more like 5 hours. Guess you lose track of time while getting punished so bad. Still I had a great time and this was my first experience playing the course. Beautiful clubhouse and facilities. Glad I finally mustard up enough money to play it.

I played the course last month. It’s a new course that needs some time to mature but already a lot better then nearby Desert Lakes and maybe a small step below Mohave Resort. I haven’t played Laughlin Ranch yet so no comment. Something I liked right away about the place was the people. Despite the trailer clubhouse and $5.50 microwaved chicken sandwich, should have got the hot dog, everyone around made us feel comfortable. I was glad the starter went out of his way to inform us about the automatic kill switch on the carts if you enter the desert surroundings or get too close to the greens. Kudus to the staff. I really liked the course, very fair, straight forward, challenging, flat layout, and nice greens despite the thin brown spots on some. Holes are spread out nice and the place really tests your iron game. Some excellent challenging risk reward par 5’s. Hole 17, par 5, is the best hole on the course. Some real par 4’s to contend with, 13 is a bear. What I liked about the layout was no gimmick holes. Everything sets up nice off the tee and on approach so you can visualize shots well. The course allows you to play bump and runs. Too many new courses over juice the greenside areas so it’s lob wedge city. Only negatives was no clubhouse and some construction. Will play again next time in town.

Heard Soboba Springs is coming under new ownership. Hope things stay status quo because this is a great track. We played last weekend in under 4 ½ hours and for the money it’s a hard deal to beat. Greens were very receptive and rolled true. Rest of the course in above average condition. Birdied hole 17 so that made my day. Will be back.

Needed to escape the heat and not break the bank. This little course was a lot of fun. Played longer then the yards, many interesting holes, and was in good shape. Was not too thrilled about finishing on a par 3 but at least it was a strong hole. For the money, I’d play here again.

Played twilight yesterday and the greens were far from terrible and probably in best shape I’ve seen them this year. Birdie “The Rock” with a smooth 4-iron to about 10 feet and canned the putt! This was my fifth time playing Oak Quarry and can’t say enough good things about the course. The visuals are amazing! Every holes has it’s own personality. Just a great course worth every penny.

Played Industry Hills Golf Club (Eisenhower) today and the playing condition were great. I didn’t notice too many of the bare/thin area mentioned below. Looks like the overseeding really paid off. The greens were in wonderful condition as was the rest of the course. Word to the wise, bring your “A” game! This course is not for the beginner.
