Pala Mesa is its second year of maintenance that will aid in the re-establishment of our bermudagrass and kikuyugrass. These techniques include light renovation for overseeding, later overseeding dates, increased aerification schedules, light verticutting and bi-weekly fertilizer feeding. The fairways are dormant (not dead) and that is why they are brownish in color. The play will be fine during this period between December and March even though the turf has gone dormant.
