Played Crossing today for 1st time, course is a great challenge with carries over ravines. The greens were fast and in great shape! 1st class service. Good dog at turn. A beautiful day all around.

What's happened to this once nice course? Greens especially on front nine had some kind of disease, my cart ran out of juice on the big hill on #12. Cart person said they had lost their general manager and it's been going down since. It's a crime if you have to pay full price but I got on with red dot but still felt a little cheated. Eric in pro shop was great and other staff but course is hurting till they get new management.

played fathers day 6/18 and was very disapointed. have been golfing here since 92 when i bought my desert springs timeshare. the greens we're the worst i've ever seen them harldly any grass on all 18 holes!! cart guys said the problem was in a irrigation pump that went down having to get the water from another source which wasn't treated as well as other water source-they said greens we're going to be re-sodded and ready by mid-july. we'll see. for now head for marriott shadow ridge course which is just about 10 minutes away.

played 6/16. course in great shape-greens tough. excellent staff at pro shop namely mat. was very helpful when making my tee time on phone keeping me posted on villa owner rates and junior rates. bob the starter very helpful also and the japanese cart girl is as sweet as they come. will be back again before summer runs out.

played the valley on 7/5. for being in the dead of summer course is in great shape along with the greens. even though palms is the more played than the valley it is right there in fact greens were a little better on valley than palms which i played 2 days later. also used red dot for buy one get one free(2 players for $50 plus a $5 per person fee for gps-thats only $30 per player) a 5-star resort/course at muni price. it was 104 that day but play early and beat the heat!

ONE OF THE BEST LAYOUTS I'VE EVER PLAYED. THE PAR 3'S WERE GREAT. STRANGE HOW SUCH A BEAUTIFUL FACILITY HAS NO RANGE, PROBABLY BUILT MORE HOMES INSTEAD. $92 ON WEEKDAYS A LITTLE HIGH, BUT HAD 2 FOR 1 COUPON-BUT THATS THE O.C..

Played 11/20/03. Course in immaculate condition, greens were fast as lightning. Fire burned all around and thru course where their was tall brush but playing surface untouched. Staff and practice facility are 5-star.
