Played Cat Tail on 05/25/13. What a fantastic course. Very beautiful and lush. Wide open and generally fun to play. Greens are huge and in excellent condition. sand is fluffy and deep. I would return here any day to play Cat Tail !!!!

Played it for the first time on 05/24/13. About 10 cars in the parking lot when I got there around 10:30 am. Course is definitely unique as you can't just pull driver on every hole. Gotta play smart and try to keep it in play. Although there are over 100 bunkers, I managed to only find 5. Greens putt well and are true. They hold all approach shots also, but are not that pretty to look at. Biggest complaint are the 1 million flies on the course. They didn't bite you but you couldn't get away from them, very very annoying. Every time you set your club down there would be 20 flies on the club-head, and this was on a breezy day, can't imagine what its like when there is no wind. Way out in the sticks also, don't know if I would go back.

Played the North course for the first time on 04/19/13. This course was just OK for being a Troon course. There was nothing really special about it. Completely flat throughout with no "WOW" factor. Tees, fairways and bunkers were nice, and the greens rolled true and were very fast, but they were HARD as concrete!!! My buddy hit a very nice 9-iron into 12 from about 135 yes, landed it 3 feet from the hole and it bounced 10 feet in the air and went 75 feet past the hole and off the green. What should have been a nice birdie putt turned into a long downhill chip. Maybe the South course is better, but I don't think I could recommend the North course, nor will I return there to play it. Much nicer courses in the area.

Played 11/08/12. Course re-opened for one week after over-seeding. Was in really good shape. Employees are very friendly. No coolers on carts are a draw-back though. would definitely play again. Nice track with wide fairways and tough Par 3's.
