Great condition, great experience. The greens were in the best shape I can imagine them, all smooth and fast, bit when they were supposed to bite, and rolled very true.

I'd play it again and again, if available at a reasonable price. Today, we played with a men's group, so the price was low. Based on the experience this day, and the overall design of the course, I can easily imagine playing this course a lot. Great pace of play.

Enjoy! We certainly did!

Maybe the worst greens I've ever played, in my life? I've been playing for many years, so that says a lot. They told us just prior to teeing off their water well has been delivering water with 30 % salt (Seawater is only 3-4%, and the water used to water this course is 30%!).

Not a fun experience, even if it had been a free round. Pick the worst greens you've ever seen, diseased sections, and that was standard on this course. I don't see it getting any better, either.

I hesitate to call them greens, honestly, as it is just not accurate. Pace of play was OK, but that was because everyone but us apparently knew about the course conditions, so the only ones here were very bad golfers.

You've been warned....

Played on a very, very, windy day. Loved the course, despite the extreme cold and wind.

Course was in perfect condition, staff nicer than most any place I've played recently, pace of play was lightning quick. Greens held well, fairways were, literally, perfect, traps well placed and cut well.

This is likely not a good choice for new or weaker golfers. It is a tough test, and tighter than most courses.

A great day. We'll be back.

Tee boxes were uniformly perfect, fairways the same. It was almost painful to take a divot in that spectacular grass, so pretty! This is not an exaggeration. I truly asked myself many times throughout the day " Can I hit this iron well without damaging the grass? ". Silly, I know, it is there for our enjoyment, but WOW!

Sand traps had very well cut edges, great sand, course design was.....one of the toughest and tightest I've played in a long time. I'm living in Scottsdale, and I decided to watch for tee times and drive down here to play this one again....

A phenomenal golf course in every way. Stunning.

One of the best experiences I've had on a course in some time. Great condition, good layout, great pace of play, greens softer throughout the day than any I've played in years.

Generally, well protected greens, greens rolled true, bit well from all distances, and it can play as long as most people would want to play it.

I hope to be able to play it again very soon.

This is one of the nicest golf courses I've ever played in Arizona, and our group of 4 agreed. One is from Southern Cal, the other from the midwest, and two are local. I won't mention the price we paid, but it was phenomenal.

The course was in top notch shape, greens immaculate, fairways in impeccable condition, and...there was hardly a single person on the course early on a Sunday morning. Football, I have no doubt, was part of the reason, but I think we saw only one other group the entire day.

The course is tough. Relatively tight landing areas, small, undulating greens with many breaks, and because none of us had ever played it, we were in the dark most of the day. When that mattered most was for the approach shots, because so many of our irons into the greens were well hit, but didn't end up close...sometimes they were hit high and soft, but rolled off the edge. Many greens are perched on hills.

Excellent course, perfect conditions, tough pin placements, and narrow landing areas.

Played on Thanksgiving morning, early. For someone who plays Executive style courses infrequently, I was impressed with the condition and design of this course. Did I mention the tiny, tiny, greens? Those took some getting used to, but it makes sense on a short course.

Good condition, great experience.

Excellent condition of both the fairways and greens. Greens rolled true every single putt and bit well from most any distance, even though there were plenty of ball marks on most every part of every green. The must roll the greens more often than most courses, as the ball marks had been knocked down to manageable depth on most greens.

Traps looked stunning, I loved their looks, well cut edges, but the sand was very thin and therefore hard to predict the bounce of the wedge at impact.

Wide open fairways, lining other fairways, made some very wild shots land on playable grass, albeit from blind views. Every single fairway was in excellent shape, virtually every the entire length of the fairway. This is a longer course than most any public course I can recall playing, except Torrey South, but maybe that is one of the reasons the ASU team will be moving here when they bulldoze ASU Karsten?

Great experience, highly recommended.

Pace of play? Perfect, we had two walkers and two riders, mid day on a week day.

Well designed and maintained golf course. Everything seems to be well kept, attractive, and tough enough to command our attention on every hole. Some of the greens are smaller than we expected, at least from the approach shots, and called for us to adjust our approaches accordingly. Greens are holding well, fairways very nice, and many of the greens are well protected.

We all joined JC Golf, partly because of this course, so we'll be playing it again soon--even after playing it twice in a month.

An enjoyable experience, each time.

Enjoyed Memorial Day on this course, my second round here inside of 45 days. Both times, it was a good experience, relatively tough layout, and in good condition each time.

Pace on Memorial Day, because of the rain in the morning (we played in the overcast but dry afternoon), was fast, because we were the only ones on the course--or so it seemed.

Greens bit well this day, they were true, and it was an enjoyable day for all of us.

Overall, not impressed with the design at all. Pete Dye? Hard to believe he actually had anything to do with the course design. Maybe his first course design, who knows?

Only 2-3 holes were worthy of any special mention, which were built on the back nine. One of them we hit our tee shot off an Astro Turf matt! Other than that, 15 holes look and play just like any muni course in Iowa. Lots more sand on the side of the fairways than a muni course, but not much different. We played a " replay " after playing TPC Stadium, which is a true Pete Dye design.

It seems each and every par 4 on this course was truly identical to the rest: Dead flat, 365 yards, unprotected greens, etc, etc. We also played behind some terrible golfers who had no concept of " Playing through ", so that didn't make the experience any better.

We won't play this course again, as there are so many great choices in the area. Not sure if this is the bottom of the barrel in this area, but it is close. Dunes course, although we did not play it, looked even weaker.

A friend suggested we try this course, as it used to be (many, many, years ago!) a solid golf course in excellent condition. Not any longer.....

Greens were, in a word, sad. Fairways not as sad, and traps not as sad either. Course design? Nothing special, although there are lots and lots and lots of trees. Pace of play was average to good, but that was primarily because this Final Four Saturday was lacking golfers.

We won't be back, at any price. Greens are so full of weeds it was almost embarrassing.
