Play this course about once or twice a month. The NMSU course is usually in it's best shape from July-September. I enjoy the elevation changes from tee to green. This is a very challenging course from the back tees (better bring your A game). Virtually every green is well bunker'd with soft sand ready to snatch wayward shots. You also have some great views of the majestic Mesilla Valley from many of the tee's and green's. You'll also have friendly critter's who will greet you on the course (deer, coyotes, bunny's, squirrels) Add in a friendly staff, comfortable & beautiful clubhouse and very affordable green's fee's and you have a nice place to stop for a round.
