Tee time was about 1:45, winds were still around 10-15 mph. Course is pretty flat but scenic surroundings. This track is a solid value at about $56 pp w/cart. Course is nestled in a large 55+ community. GPS equipped cart was helpful. Nice grass driving range. Great course for getting the extra round of golf in on your trip to the area. Greens were receptive and smooth.

Played here yesterday as part of a GK Match Play. It was the first time I've ever played here and will most likely be the last. As a woman, this course doesn't set up well for me. The already narrow fairways have random trees in the middle of the fairway that you have to avoid. Target golf is not my strong point!
The fairways were also over-watered. Very mushy in a lot of places. Greens and tee boxes were in good shape.

Overall, the course is beautiful and the folks that I played with did fine but like I said, as a woman playing the forward tees, this isn't a good course for me. If I do decide to play here again (since the price is so good), I'll most likely play from the whites to take the fairway trees out of play.

Played here on Sunday, May 26. In one word; WOW! This course has some of the nicest fairways and greens that I've seen. The grass in the rough is probably 3" tall, which made it very hard to hit out of. Greenside bunkers were nice and fluffy. Nothing negative to say about this course at all. It's the longest course I've played to date and I'm looking forward to playing it again because it really tests my long game.

Played Jurupa Hills for the first time last weekend. I'm still somewhat of a rookie so I'm not sure if soft, spongy greens are a good or bad thing but they rolled nicely so I liked them. The fairways were in nice condition too. The rough was pretty tall and tough to hit out of but that's why we're supposed to keep it in the short stuff, right? I didn't hit any bunkers so I'm not sure of their condition.

Two things that irk me when it comes to golf courses and both happened at Jurupa Hills. 1) Lack of cart service (saw her once on the 3rd hole and never saw her again) and 2) lack of restrooms. Dear Golf Courses... women need more than just the one restroom that you have at the clubhouse... even if it's an outhouse... give us something, please!

All in all, the course is really nice. The homes around it are a whole other story but I'm there to play golf, not look at houses.

Played here on 5/18 in a GK tournament (thanks Johnny!!) The course is in great shape. Fairways were in really great shape. Had one problem with a greenside bunker that seemed to contain more pebbles than sand. It was on the first part 5 (can't remember the hole number, sorry). Other traps that I encountered were nice and fluffy. The greens were hard as a rock and a lot of times the ball would roll close to or through the back of the green even when hitting the front. In hindsight, I probably should've changed to a softer ball and perhaps that would've helped.

Having course knowledge is definitely needed here. Especially on hole 18.

Looking forward to playing this course again.

Played Journey at Pechanga on 4/27 using a 2 for 1 deal we purchased through underpar.com. The club house is grandioso, the carts are the most high-end carts I've ever ridden in, and the course is one tough cookie!!

The conditions of the course were absolutely perfect. Nothing at all to complain about.

The marshall's drive around and really work hard on getting folks to pick up the pace.

The only complaint is beyond the course's control but I feel worth mentioning anyway and that's the wind. It was extremely gusty that day and someone of my caliber hasn't yet learned how to deal with that and adjust properly. When we completed our round we asked the guy up front if wind like that was normal and he said yes, the wind picks up everyday around 11am.

Bottom line, if you're not able to get out there around 7am, then be prepared for a very windy day.

Journey @ Pechanga is a beautiful, well-maintained, challenging course.

Played the Palms course at Menifee Lakes on 5/5/13 for a GK match and found the course to be pretty nice but not perfect. The fairways didn't really know what they wanted to be... grass, dirt, or clovers.

The greens and teeboxes were both in excellent shape.

The sandtraps, although not horrid, were pretty low in sand. Even though it hadn't rained in the area recently, the almost-bare traps were pretty wet and hard to hit out of.

Other than that, the course really isn't bad and I'd definitely play there again.

Played Redhawk for the first time today after snatching up a great deal on underpar.com. I really liked this course. It's in great shape. I didn't land in a bunker so I can't speak for their conditions but the fairways and greens were pristine. The layout is a lot of fun and no two holes look alike. I would definitely recommend this course.

Tee Time at 10am on Labor day, played with my husband bsparks1961.
Paid $42 each for this course, that is a fair price for the track.
The layout is quite nice, interesting holes.
Course plays quite long for ladies, over 5800yds from the forward tees.
Carts have GPS but no cooloer. The lack of cooler is off-set by having refreshment stands on holes 7, 13 and 15. Greens were for the most part just fine, typical amount of ball marks we all have to endure. Greenside bunkers were in really good condition, I did find it odd how much fluffy sand were in the fareway bunkers. Fairways were hit and miss, some where in good condition, some were just mowed weeds and dirt. Several holes had quite a bit of watering which presented some challenges.

Driving Range - not all that good, pretty beat up and not that level today.

Overall - this is a good course in the low $40 range. Too hot to play in the summer, might try to get out in the fall and try this course again. Staff comes across nice and friendly.
