Love the lay out. What is it with every military course in SD? B.B. did well here and without tractors. Has a O Muni look crossed with a few few SLRD holes in there. The course just has a nice flow to it. Up and down holes, cross wind holes. Greens are enormous for a course built in the 40's Plays longer than the 6800 it says on the card. Good set of par 3's. Some reachable par 5's. The only thing bad I can say is that the greens run like a 1976 shag carpet. And there is no need for that. It's not like they are getting blown out with play. I was six inches short on every put because they look like they will run faster but they are a solid 7 on the stimp. It's hard to force yourself to blast it unless you play here often. Would definitely come out here again. Military layout is as good as Baker North for sure.
