What was once one of the best courses in Southern Arizona is now a poorly maintained, overpriced course not worth playing. Since my last visit the greens have become horribly bumpy, the fairway grass virtually nonexist. In fact two fairways have had natural desert areas amounting to no more than gravel placed to reduce turf. Now you are forced to hit iron off the tee and hope your ball doesn't roll out into the rocks. Overall a very disappointing day considering past conditions.

Course was in great condition considering the time of year. Staff was helpful and let us start on the back nine to avoid a tournament which had started on the front. Turned a five hour round into a 3.5 hour round. Fair course with wide fairways but 109 bunkers of which I found several. My only complaint were the flies. Who decided to put a nice course right next to stockyards? Take bug spray if you are going to play in the summer months.
