The course layout is very fair with some challenging holes presenting obvious risk-reward options. Although not overly punitive due to very few trees, the greens can be difficult to read particularly #9 & #10.
The course is a value if you play Twilight AND it's not overly crowded. However, the two normally go hand-in-hand ergo slowplay!

This has been my "Home Course" for the last 15 years. The Ted Robinson design (with a recent 'makeover') is very traditional and is deceptively challenging due to the abundance of trees. It is consistently punitive for any errant tee shot (automatically add a stroke). It will favor a consistently straight hitter but length is a must on most of the Par 4's or they become Par 5's (Par 6's if your errant AND short). Don't be in a hurry because it attracts all of the bargain hunters and the Starters promote fivesomes.
