Played Turkey Creek 6/11/08 as a single. Course in good shape, a little slow. But if you were wearing a cowboy hat the wind would have blown you away. A playing partner would have been nice. Actually really nice...........Buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Arrived at the course and noticed there was no ice in the ice cooler on the golf cart. I threw a sandwich and a coke I brought with me in the cooler and asked for ice. I was advised that ice is ONLY AVAILABLE to golfers who purchase 100% of their food from the course or pro shop. Another words no ice. This is the cheapest move I've seen to date by the Billy Casper organization.
Golfers bring your own ice..........................

A buck and a half plus is not even close to what this course is worth. $65-$80 and I'm being generous. no driving range, 5hr round, staff nothing great pro shop just gauges you. Staff act like they don't make minimum wage which they all do. Will never return. Prefer to go to SF Gleneagles and play the 9 holer for a more enjoyable golfing experience and save a few $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

The course is ok BUT the pace of play is slow, slow, and slower.Second hole begins backing up and when you get to the 10th there are a minimum of three (3) groups waiting. Have advised Pro Sho but it has not changed during the last year 5hrs and 37 minutes. Not that I counted every minute out there. Did I mention how slow it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stonetree a winter course. Handles rains, niormally in good to very good shape. BUT has a few chincy holes, in particular when you are in the back 9. Yardages are difficult because of the elevation of some greens. Staff friendly, golfers can be difficult some feel their country club types other are just pushy. Stonetree does not hesitate to charge top dollar especially Frid-Sunday. Should be noted that the Golf Course doanted all green fees for a fallen firefighter.... Cool

Adjacent to SAC Airport course is in good shape. Plays a little longer than markers. T shot positioning is very important. Greens and fairways in good shape. Pace of play in or at 4hr consistently. Good bargain for the Sacramento Area. Range flat and good. Food ok. Full bar but limited alcohol worth drinking.
Always a good outing. Buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Course is in adequate shape BUT 5hr-6hr rounds. Last three (3)outing; 5hrs 10min., 5hr 22min, 5hr 18min. Brutal. Gets backed up at 2nd hole and continues through 10 where it gets worse. No marshals and starters. Pro Shop has no comment on pace of play....
