Love this course but not when they just punched the greens and very sandy. No mention of maintenance when booking tee time, paying green fees, checking out cart or at starter booth. We didn't find out until we walked up to our par putts on #1. Next time I will ask before booking.

Got out on first tee time on a Monday morning. Bitter cold but worth the pain. Nobody else braved the coldness so played as a lone single. Expected some brown grass due to cold morning but course was in nice green grass condition. Tee boxes were level and lush. Greens held well and rolled true. Definitely worth the $$ and will return here as the other courses in this price range are browned out.

So sad. This used to be a favorite and was always in good conditions. Clubhouse is now a trailer. Portopotty restroom. Tee boxes were chewed up and uneven at times. Fairways are all brown and thin at spots making lots of run possible but good chance of running into trouble too. Greens were decent. Saturday AM round was a bit of a 5 hrs disappointment. Sounds like Mt. Woodson is getting sold off so until new owners start the upkeep there is no way I would pay full price here now.

Played Sunday, Oct 23. Good rate specials if you are willing to miss football. $60 after 10:30,$50 after noon (w cart). Course & greens were in great shape. Maintenance finally paying off.

OB/lateral areas will be tough in 1-2 months once fire damage has grown back.
