Being a Pleasanton resident I was ecstatic to have the long awaited course finally playable. The course is usually in very good condition. They have upgraded the bunkers and fixed some problems with a couple of the greens. The pace of play is terrible. The City of Pleasanton refuses to change to 10 minute tee times. They must feel revenue is a higher priority than customer satisfaction. The other problem is the course rating needs some fine tuning. It seems my partners and I will play the course, scuffle a little, throw away some shots and still shoot a 79 or 80. If you play here alot it will adversely affect your index.
