Golf Course Reviews: California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Utah, Florida, Hawaii!Played course last weekend to get away from the valley heat plus relatives in the area. I liked the course but for the price I thought it would be better. It is quite short from the back tees and has some severe doglegs on a couple of holes, 90 degrees left from the tee on 1 par 5 with 2nd shot about 45 degrees right. I would probably play it again just because of the staff and patrons...they are pretty laid back in Santa Barbara so it makes for a relaxing round. They also have a real nice Bar and Resturant.
I'd have to rate it o.k. My biggest gripe would be the speed of the greens, they were SLOW, even for a muni course. also, there was no defining line between fairway and rough, it all kinda looked the same. Speed of play was good as was the price.
