Finally checked this one off the list of courses I haven't played and boy what a pleasant surprise. The layout is really fun, makes you think and requires accuracy if you chose to challenge the tee shot on many holes that bend around water. It has the feel of a once premier private club that has admittedly seen better days but it has good bones, better than average greens and a friendly staff. It is not as perfectly conditioned as some other courses down here but I never had a bad lie in the fairway and the greens were good. Give it a try.

I drove my daughter and some other kids around this course during a golf camp and was happy that they were the ones playing. The front nine was playable however the back nine was maybe the poorest example of "challenging layout" I've seen in some time. I would not play this course if they let me on for free! To think that people actually moved to this place from Valencia CC just boggles the mind. Obviously, you don't always get what you pay for.
