This is the best value at $38 with golf cart. The course is a muni track but NOT a cow pasture! The layout is good, and there is plenty of tree trouble and you are penalized for poor shots. I enjoyed playing the course - it has a blue collar, down to earth, unassuming atmosphere and feel. Besides the beautiful trees, the fairways probably represent the best of the course, although the rough and "in-between-fairway" areas are unremarkable or downright poor. The greens are so-so, but at least on the day I played (May 21st), whomever cut the holes did a very poor job (putts without pace "ricocheted" off of the edge of some of the holes). However, for the money, what do you expect?

This was an exceptional course (Meadows/Ranch), although they were heavily watering the front nine when we teed off at 7:37AM. As a result, the first 4 holes played very wet, and made these holes a little more difficult and longer. The Par 5s were a challenge, especially since you don't fully realize the layout of the holes (e.g. split fairways, where to leave your second shot for your approach). My Skycaddie was a big help, but I should have invested in a yardage book too. I really enjoyed playing here, and I have to say they make the best breakfast burritos (even better with a Bloody Mary)!

I really enjoyed playing this course (Friars/Mission). The layout is nice and the course is in good shape. There is definitely a "country club" feel, although range balls are not provided and the minimum number available for purchase is 60, which is too many for just a warm up. The greens rolled well, but were slow for my liking. The Par 3's are generally very tough from the tips, and very enjoyable. The staff was exceptional!
