Played a birthday round there today. Course was in great shape and the weather was excellent. The greens were firm and pretty fast. Fairways were good and some of the traps need sand. No breakfast served during the weekdays :( but the snack bar was open and the service was very friendly. All-in-all it was a very fun day. Will play there again very soon.

Just played this course for the first time Friday 11/11/11. Nice late fall weather made for some really stunning views of the valleys and mountains. It wasn't that crowded but pace of play was still slow (5 1/2 hr round). Course was in pretty good shape except for the sand traps - they were terrible! Avoid the beach on this course if at all possible because they aren't really sand, they're packed dirt with rocks. Ugh. Pin placement was challenging and the greens were fast. You needed some serious finesse to keep downhill putts from rolling right past the hole all the way down to the lower tier or off the green all together. Also, service was so-so. The clubhouse diner serves a good breakfast and they said it would be open for lunch, but they shut it down without warning for a wedding before we could finish 18. If they fix the traps I'll play there again. Otherwise, I'm not coming back because it's just not worth the frustration.
