Played on 9/4/16. Used their Labor Day special $45.00 cart, lunch & range balls. Their golfers lunches are especially good there. The proshop staff and restaurant/bar staff are always friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately the fairways were not is the best of shape, there were some bare spots and the bunkers for some reason were quite wet and hard packed. The greens were in good condition and rolled true. Pace of play was very good, we had a 5 some and finished in 4 hrs. 16 min.

Overall the course was in good shape. The greens where rolling nice. A bit on the slow side. There were some areas in the fairway that were over watered and muddy. Most of the bunkers were wet from the over watering, otherwise they were playable.

Haven't played Peacock Gap is several years. Play this course on 7/1/16. The course was in terrific shape. Greens were smooth and fast. Staff was very nice, weekday senior rate at 62, walking is $33.00. The club house and event center had really nice renovations done to it.

Played Rooster on 7/3/16. The greens & fairways were in good condition. Greens were slower than usual. I dont' think its worth the weekend price with cart at the regular rack rate ($72.00). Overall I like playing the course.

Course was in very good condition. Greens & fairways were in good condition. Staff was very friendly. Stop at the cafe, they have a really good hamburger.

Play this course on Sunday. Started out great, course was in good condition and greens were in excellent shape. Bunkers were a bit hard packed. 1st nine holes, no wind and warm weather. Back nine was a different story. It was extremely wind and cold. Had to club up 2 to 3 clubs because of the strong winds.

I played this course on 5/20/8. I love this course, 2nd time playing here. The staff is always great and with GPS on the carts at the end of the round you can get printout of your score and everywhere you've been on the course. The ball carries further in the light air, so adjust accordingly. You have to do some course management as driver is not necessary on every hole and there are layups needed.

Played this course on 5/19/08. It was in great condition. Your going to love hitting from the 15th tee, island green at 230 yds, but actual carry was about 185 yds. Staff was friendly and courteous. They let us play as a 5 some as long as we kept up with the pace of play.

Played this course on 2/15/08. The course was in great condition, fairways & greens were excellent. This was a very enjoyable though challenging course due to the narrow fairways and hazards. The course has nice views all around and I would definitely go back to play here again.

Played this course on 1/18/08. Overall course condition was good. This is a short course, but the greens putted true, though there were ballmarks/divots that were not repaired by other golfers. It's a wide open course, but weekend play is very slow. We waited at every tee as there were two foursomes ahead of us playing very slow. We had an impatient three some behind us that hit into us couple of times and made sarcastic remarks to us as they caught up to us at tee boxes. (even though they could see that we were waiting for the groups ahead of us on the fairways and tee boxes.) Marshall was of no use as he knew that one of the players in the group ahead of us was known for his slow play and the Marshall made no effort to speed them along.

Played this course on 1/20/08. Course was in very good condition, the greens were med speed, but very true rolling putts. The course has in interesting layout going from wide open and flat on the front 9 to narrower and hilly on the back. Wind was a factor, can get very cold and windy. If you take a cart, try to get one of the covered ones as this helps to shield greatly against the wind.

Peacock Gap just reopened, played here on 12/2/07. The course was in very good condition. They changed the configuration of holes 6,7,8 & 9. The greens putt true but they all have different tiers and undulations. On several of the greens they put big valleys and one even has a hole in the middle of it. If you use a power cart, they are now restricted to the cart paths. I personally don't feel it's worth the $75.00 walking and $90.00 w/cart weekend rate.
