Golf Course Reviews: California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Utah, Florida, Hawaii!I've played this course twice in the past 2 months and the Chino Creek one once. Chino Creek is definitely a little more visually appealing and it plays longer as well. Butterfield is a great course however, except for some very hard sand...in fact I wouldn't even call it sand. There are rocks and other debris in the bunkers, you can't even sink your sand wedge into it, resulting in your ball flying over the green into the bunker on the other side. Other than the bunkers though, these are great courses for the money. Fairways are not too fast because they keep the grass a bit longer than most places, however this results in very nice looking green fairways. Greens have been recently aerated and are soft but pretty quick in the afternoons. For $28 twilight time, you can't go wrong.
