They had pluged and sanded the greens less than a week ago. The greens were slow due to the sanding. They also plugged the fairways and were playing winter rules due to the plugs on the fairways. Over all the course is in pretty good shape. Just a fun place to play and the rates are reasonable. I would recommend the course to anyone.
The course was in great shape. Very player friendly ie. (Wide fairways and large greens). The greens were not hard to read and were not overly fast. Good customer service from the starter to the restaurant employees. I would give this course an A all across the board.
What a great course. Every bit worth the price to play. The conditions were outstanding in every way. Was not very crowded and we got around without having to way at all.
Give it a go!!!!!!! You will not be disapointed. p.s. Not a course for the 20 and over handicaps. You just might lose a lot of balls...

Playing Tierra Rejada is like playing at a private country club. The playing conditions are great and we made it around in 4 hours and not rushing it. We had no pressure either in front or behind us. Also try out the restaurant. The quality is there and the service is friendly. A must play if you have not played it. I am sure the week days are the time to play if you can.
The Course really has not changed much in the last couple of years even with the change of ownership. The fairways still clumpy in most areas and a lot of areas near the mountain side with standing water into the fairways. The only good I could see were the greens and they were in excellent shape. It took a little over 5 hours to play on a Sunday as they still allow fivesomes to go out. I would rate this course fair at best.
