Okay played this course Saturday for a Special Olympics event. The course is in real good shape. Greens are a little slow but overall tee boxes and fairways are in great shape. The staff at El Rio is outstanding. Well worth the money their charging. $26 with a cart!

Played this course on 8/9/2014, Rattler then Roadrunner. The course overall was in great shape and is always a pretty course as far as scenary. The greens were soft so you could throw your approaches right at the pin. They were a little sloweer than normal. Shot 44, 42 for an 86. Ejoyed it!

Played this course on Sunday. I'll start with the good....which is much. The greens were soft and running fast. Now for all that is wrong. Saw the cart girl twice in 5 hours. Fairways were over watered. Yes.... in AZ over watering is a sin! Lift, clean and replace on a sunny day in the desert. Brown spots and flooding on the same fairway. Will never play a muni in Tucson ever again.

I decided to give this course another try after the rates went down to $36. I'm glad I did. Totally different experience then last summer. The course has very good customer service. The course condition was two times better than last summer. The best thing I heard all day from the three members I played with was that they no longer have rangers. The starter was very pleasant which set the tone for the rest of the day. I had a very memorable golf experience. I must play this summer!!!!

We played this "Dog track" today. That was being nice. Please don't waste your money playing this course until at least later this spring. Very brown fairways most likely from not watering. Bunkers are some of the worst in the city. Weeds around the greens. For some reason the are growing the aprons to about 2 inchs and the grass behind it was dead and brown. The one good thing I can say is that the cart lady was a hoot! Very nice personallity and really took good care of us. We paid $35 on golfnow and got free lunch. They should have paid us!

This course had a Par 3 tournament two weeks ago and they haven't fix the tee boxes from it. Pretty sad that they don't have enough maintenance staff to fill a few divots. Other than that it was in good shape and always a fun course to play in the wind. 17 and 18 down wind what a blast!

WOW!!! This course is in awesome shape. I played on Oct 16th and it was cart path only. The overseeding is complete and is very green. Customer service is great. These bent grass greens are an absolute joy to play on. They medium to fast and very smooth. If you see a break take about a holes width away and you'll make lots of putts. Everything breaks to the river so be aware of where it is. Get out and play this course! I'm playing this Sunday and can't wait.

This course lets the public play during the summer. Frankly, I wouldn't bother! The course was not in that good of shape. Private country clubs generally will take care of there course. But that is not the case here. With that said, NO cart service and a VERY pushie ranger made for an experience I couldn't wait to get over with. If a group is 2 hours and 5 minutes at the 9th hole you have no right to ask them to hurry up. This seems to be a common thing with this course and yet when you say something to them about the guy they do nothing. Overall, This is a NEVER play again course.

Wow....Resort course....not a chance. Very brown....very little green stuff out there. Nice layout but just not worth what you pay when there many other nicer courses. I know a lot of course are struggling because of no rain but this course needs some TLC.

Fred Enke like most city ran course is an "dog track"! Good rule of thumb "stay off the public courses" especially when the other course are in better shape and ran better.

Silverbell like most city ran course is an "dog track"! How they can charge what they are charging to play there is amazing. Then there is no good feedback from Golfnow.com because they don't have anybody on the ground here in Tucson. Good rule of thumb "stay off the public courses" especially the other course are in better shape and ran better.

I have played this course twice now and is a joy to play. I played it last Sunday March 20, 2011. The course is in real good shape overall. The greens were a little slow for the money I paid to play. I even called the pro shop on the Friday before and he said the greens were in good shape. Good shape yes - fast no! If you charge $52 to play you need to get them rolling around 8-9. These greens were 3-4 except number 16, it was oddly fast. My only three putt of the day. It can be windy out on the back 9 because its away from the houses. But a very good track. Trevino knew what he was doing when he designed this on.
