Played the course 8/27/09. First time in a while, the greens actually kept the putting line that I "looked at". The fairways were in good to great shape. Fellow golfers were really taking the time to replace their divots. You can tell that the maintenance crews were hard at work in it's upkeep and repairs. The rough was decent per this double digit handicapper. As usual though, "kikuya will kill ya". But per course management, you'll do fine coming out/forward. Finish the round as a foursome in 4 hours. Must be an onamily? The holes had water jugs at the Tee boxes, no service cart to be seen. The snack shack had all you needed anyway. The price for the round was great, but as a "retiree", I got the better rate ($20.00 cheaper w/cart)than my fellow golfers.

Played the course 5/2/09 for the very first time. Highly disappointed based off the various reviews posted about the course. The course bunkers were "thin" on certain holes, lacking sand at times. The putting surface are still recovering from the aerations that was done. Could not hold the line I was looking at. ALOT of bumps, turns/twisting, "could be" due to the aeration holes. Biggest disappointing finding is that the course has no yardage markers other than the 200 yds blue markers and the 150 yrd markers. The Pro Shop offers a Yardage book, but at an unreasonably high cost, not worth it. So basically you are at the mericy of "your" own best "guesstimate" for yardage. Will not be coming back to the course, nor would I recommend it to others.

Played the course for the first time today. Several "tight" and narrow (at times) fairways here. Accuracy is a must. The putting surface was speedy and undulating. The breaks on the surface are deceiving and fast. The course sets up for just about every type of shot making in your bag. If you only have "one" type of drive off the box, be prepared for a long day. Recommend you "read" the course's tips from several posters. They are on the money per their advice. One advice - balls will "run" on low "worm killer" hits. Beware of the mountain lion lounging in a tree.

Played the course 3/25/09. Have to agree with prior posting, the practice putting green is in better shape than the actual course greens. Playing partners "lost" several balls in the rough- not sure why? Overall, the course is in good shape/care.

Played the course, under a "light" drizzle. Course is in good/great shape. Apparently it is being "prepped" for a qualifing tournement. The pace was outstanding, considering that it rained for about 20 mins. The staff has done an outstanding job in getting the course into shape. If you play "course management" here, you can make par or better on this golf course. But it will also make you pay if you are not accurate in your yardage.

Played the course on 1/30/09. Course was in great shape all things considered. Rough was cut lower than usual which made play easier. However, the greens seem to lack some hackers respect in repairing them. Speed of play was great till the five-some in front of my four-some decided to break up into two groups; 2 players that had experience in playing the game and a three-some that appeared to be their first time on an actual course and playing. What made it more "maddening" was that they were playing off the blues. Had to call the Pro Shop for assistance and a Marshall to come out and rectify this. What started out to be a potential 4 1/2 hour play turned into a 5 hr, 45 min. day.

Played the course for the first time since over a year ago. Not much has changed since. Still in the same shape - fairways are in terrible shape. Seems like there are golfers/hackers that are "alergic" to repairing divots and had one hole being "watered" in the mid fairway distance for over 2 hours. Couldn't understand the logic. Finished in 4 1/2 hours, which is not bad considering. But the later Tee times, after 0900, the course was over runned and delays prevailed. MUST warn fellow golfers, my clubs were stolen in the club house, not outside, while dining. So pay attention and be forwarned!!!
