Played this afternoon @ 12:52. Booked a time on GolfZing (had better rates for this course than GolfNow did) and met up with another single and played in about 3:30. We played through 1 foursome on #3 and that was it. A bit breezy during the round, but not more than a 1 club or so wind. Course was in pretty decent shape, greens were nice and smooth with a little bit of speed to them as the round wore on. Overall shorter course, but still with some good challenging holes including 200+ yard par 3s. Be sure to take advantage of the par 5s (except maybe the 570 yarder on the back) and the short par 3s and 4s. I didn't make a whole lot of putts but played one of my best rounds this year. Not bad for $20-30 with cart. Hit 'em straight!

Teed off playing the back tees as a single @ 1144. Got a great deal through GolfNow for $22 + $2.49 booking fee. POP ~3:45, so pretty good for a weekday late morning. Joined up with a single for a few holes until he stopped at 9, then joined a two-some for some holes on the back nine starting on 13. Greens were in good shape. Bunkers looked to be under renovation (i.e. some are terrible, some are OK). Lots of trouble out there to get into. I printed out the "TIPS" until the course review which were helpful, but nothing beats playing it the first time and finding out the hard way. Caveat-- it was my first time playing it and first time playing a different set of irons. I did not play too well, but grinded it out making some tough bogeys and pars. I will be back again and will hopefully score better. Keep an eye out on greenskeeper.org as it sounded like they were going to aerate soon.
