Hey! Its been a while since I played California Oaks. I use to avoid the place because of the terrible conditions and rude staff to be honest.

My friend's convinced me to come out last weekend for some specials they were having, and i thought "Why not."

I had a talk with the Pro in the shop (Ryan), and he was telling me how the conditions have improved. He did say the fairways are not perfect, and the back nine does have some bare areas. Honestly I did not believe him at first (this course used to be a complete wreck). He said we have been trying real hard to improve customer satisfaction and the quality of the greens.

After playing a few holes I noticed a vast improvement from last time. It seems he was telling the truth. The greens were smooth (on the slow side), but they looked really good!
For the specials they are offering, I will be back.

This course is right down the street, and its good they have gotten there act together. Check it out people, not bad for the price.
