Played Spring Hills last Saturday for the first time. It is a deceiving course, it looks very plain jane when you drive in the parking lot but that is not case at all. I like the layout and would have played better if I had read the yardage book, like I said it is deceiving. The greens were excellent smooth, true and quick. The people running the course including the grounds keepers are very friendly. If I did not live an hour & ½ away Spring Hills would be a frequent course for me. If you go to check Spring Hills, I recommend 2 things buy and READ the yardage book and add a burger to your round, I had the salmon burger and it was excellent!

Played this course for the first time on Sunday, it was great. I like the layout with 6 par 3’s and 6 par 5’s. The first hole has a wide fairway but they tighter as you go. Most of the par 5’s are reachable in 2 if you dare. The greens were very firm but they are punching the greens today. I look forward to returning to this course.

This course continues to go downhill, I think I have played my last round here. I don’t know if they are having saltwater issues or some kind of soil problem. The amount of bare dirt everywhere makes the course not tournament ready or worth the money.

The greens are incredible, fast and true. The course is great shape except for the sand traps, they can be very thin with only a ¼ inch sand in some of them. So stay out of the sand and your going to have a great round.

The course is in great shape but the Poa on the greens need to be addressed. The day I played the greens where faster that normal. It is still the best Municipal course in the area.

I have a love hate relationship with Callippe, The corse is in great shape but it always plays so slow that I have hard coming going there any more. Please switch to 10 Min tee times!!!!
