18th and 17th holes are my favorite. the 17th is a long par five and you cant see the flag untill you drive up a hill just to find that you have to drive down a pretty fair slope and then up a very vertical hill. we stopped on the cart path half way up the hill and had to give the gas cart a little push to get it moving. The the 18th hole it a 212 stight down. One of the locals said you have to play it different in the winter becuase of the strong head wind.

I really enjoyed this course. It may have been becuase it was 120 in phoenix aznd only 59 at tee time last saturday morning. The course was great fun and had plenty to offer for long holes and great scenery. It had many challenging holes and just enough water to keep your game alert. I played it twicw last week and cant wait to get back up in the mountains. The elk sign was very apparent. I would say thet live on the couse every night. Being a hunter I had the additional excitment looking at the huge track the big bulls left on the green. We kept jocking that the tracks where the reason our balls didnt fall in the cup but that was not the case.

I have already written this course once this week but I would add that the greens played a little slow becuase they are so wet when I have played them. Very nice course.

I am 1 month into this game so this is written from a rookies perspective and some of my partners comments. This is very much a target course. From water to creeks to traps well placed right where you drive too. This for me has proven to be a very difficult course. I played it twice last week and lost 9 balls the first game and 6 the last. The staff is great and the course is well manicured. We had the 1st tee time of 5:08am last week and the gardners went hole to hole woth us trimming every tee box as we arrived. This was a little anoying but was nice to have a perfect tee box at every hole.

The start was behind schedule. The course was nice. It is a target course and fairly difficult. I am still learing but i lost four balls in the desert. Ice cold water at many tee boxes was nice for a warm day. I noticed quite a few hole marks in the greens. overall a nice course but not my favorite.

I have played Orange tree 5 times in the last 3 months. I really like it. the staff is great and the course in forgiving enough for a great day of golf. the price is affordable and the greens are fantastic.

A fun course that is not expensive. Failry difacult for a beginer like myself, the staff was great. not the most prestine course but they have hired a new greens keeper and we hear this winter this might be the course to play.

no rain for weeks. the course was so wet the golf carts could hardly get traction. Fun course with lots of hills and views. Only saw the beverage cart once after 3 hours

I am fairly new. I have only played 8 times. (ever). we played a four man scramble so rookies like me could survive. Every drive was over a canyon or off a 150 yard cliff. You have to hit the green or fairway or reach into your bag for another ball, which I did quite often. there wasn't any water and the bunkers where not the issue, but you will want to watch out for the desert, its rough. Not for learners. Most of my buddies who shoot in the low 80's said it was great and want to go back soon. But even they lost some balls.
