Played on May 18th 2014 and some fairways were already punched. Greens getting punched and sanded May 19 and 20. The maintenance alerts for this course still show green and should not. The fairways were grass in some spots, and hitting off dirt or dead grass in many spots. It looked like they had not watered the fairways in a few days. The greens were cut very short before the coming aerification and on some holes it was ridiculously hard to hole the ball because the cup was cut on a hill so the ball would just trickle down forever. Very frustrating. The price was low so that was a plus.

Played here day after Christmas. The staff told me that this course, along with Fred Enke GC, received only minimal overseeding due to the budget limitations they face. The greens got a bit of overseeding done to them, along with the tee boxes and apron/skirt around the greens. Yep, you read that right.....no fairways. They painted them green, but its all dormant grass, which means they save big money by not watering the fairways. The ball sure rolls forever though! ha ha. My elbows hurt from the shock of impact near the end of the round. That ground is hard, ouch. Don't even think of playing before 12pm when the rates drop and you can score unlimited golf with cart. I see they are charging around 40 for the morning times and at that price it truly is baffling who would pay it. Hope this info helps....long live city golf!
