I've just played my last round there. I will NEVER go back!!! The place was flooded, cartpath only, and the sprinklers were still on all day. Completely unbelievable. we called the pro shop and they said it was up to the city, not their responsiblilty. What a load. You pay premium price and get trampled soggy course. Everytime I go there I have a terrible experience with the condition of the course. I don't mind paying top dollar. I play the Ridge, Darkhorse all the time, but to have to pay close to the same rate at a city course and have them be rude and not care about the course. They can have it. Hope you all will feel the same and maybe it will change.

Amy and all her crew does an excellent job of keeping up the course. I know there has been money problems in the past, but through it all Amy and her crew have done quite a remarkable job. This course really deserves a chance. Put your egos away and come out to Rio, it is so worth the value. You won't be unhappy. GREAT JOB AMY AND ALL YOUR HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

This course is a gem, very beautiful. Everyone is professional and courtioues. It definitely wil test every skill you have, leave your ego at home or in the car, or the course will crush it for you. We played for $22 thru ezlinks.com so the value was excellent but the regular price is not that bad for the value. Give this course a try you will not be disappointed. A+++

I love playing this course!!! It's a great value, they will always get you on, the help is very friendly. The new tournament director (AMY) is awesome, extremely helpful, and the course is in as good of shape as anywhere in the Sacramento area. Put your egos away and try this course in Nicolaus. The greens are normally the best around. I play $80 that are not as in playable condition as this one. Try it you will agree. A+
