A great place to play if on a time budget. Gets a little busy on Saturdays mid morning. Good place to improve irons and short game. Enough par 4s and long 3s to keep it interesting.

The greens can be tricky. Although not overly long the greens are small and undulating. You can definitely improve your short game here and you definitely need to be a straight driver on the par-4s. On the Par-4 8th hole you want to aim at the mound 180-190 yards out so you have a nice short iron to the green. Laying up to the elbow of the dogleg gives you a longer shot.
On the par-4 4th hole you want to stay to the right side of the fairway to get a good straight shot into the green. THere are many bunkers and trees on the left side right at the 190-200 yard mark.

At times staff is late opening up course first thing in the morning. They used to turn the lights on at 5:30 a.m. but quit doing so when Gray Davis was in office.
