Hadn't played Troon North in a long time, probably 10 years ago. I was surprised at how well the fairways, rough, and tee boxes have held up, the maintenance on them was immaculate. The only downside was slower than normal, a little bit bumpy greens due to recent aereating, but not enough to take the enjoyment out of the day. Too bad there are so many houses, it was nicer 10 years ago when there were fewer homes surrounding the course. Nice to be first off, finished very quickly, great experience.

Got to play a couple of times last fall. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Demanding golf course, much better when ranger keeps the slow people moving.
