Course is well maintained. It is well designed with lots of water hazzards. The weather is a concern with windy conditions in the afternoon. Not many bunkers. There are alligators around. Nice pro shop. Well worth the green and cart fee.

This course is in the best condition that I have seen in over twenty years. It has unique challenges with elevated greens. It has the hardest par 5 in San Diego county. For me it is the best value course to play. Lots of fun and terrific views of Downtown San Diego and the ocean. It will give you a real good workout when you walk it.

The Balboa 9 hole course offers an executive length with challenges.
The greens are excellent. It makes a great outing for golf in the afternoon. Reservations are not needed. It is a favorite for many in San Diego.
