Played late Sunday morning.
Course is in reasonable condition.
Tee boxes mostly good.
Fairways mostly quite firm with roll. A few thin and bare spots.
Rough was relatively thin with some bare areas.
Bunkers that I went in were ok.
Greens on the slow side. Many ball marks - I may have seen it at its worst playing late Sunday morning.
Lost my drive on the first hole because it went down the right hand side of the fairway and there were dozens of balls there from the driving range. This may be worse because I went out late Sunday morning after a busy weekend.
POP 4 hours 45 minutes.
Customer service was good. We saw the drinks cart several times which was useful on a warm day.
Course plays shorter than card due to the current dry conditions with plenty of roll which also makes it easier to play.

Enjoyed our day at Maderas. It has many quite steep holes as it goes through canyons.
Greens are fast and true. Often they have large undulations which can be challenging.
Fairways and bunkers good.
PoP was 4.25 hours teeing off at 11.30 on Tuesday.
No GPS on the carts, which would help given the elevation changes.
Service very good and club house facilities are excellent.

Good grass coverage on fairways with no significant bare patches. Less brown, more green, than other local courses I played recently.
Greens very fast and true. Quite challenging if above the hole.
Tees flat and even.
Rough was short with good grass coverage and not difficult to play from.
PoP was 5 hours on Sunday starting at 10.00 am. We walked.

I played Presidio and Mission. This provides a good variety and mix of holes.
Presidio is the longest on the 9s.
Mission is shorter and has more water including lakes and a river that need to be crossed.
Both 9s are in similar condition and are good.

Good, well kept course.
Relatively flat piece of land with a variety of holes due to stream running through course and a lake.
Not the most challenging course.
Greens are fast and true and well hold a ball.

Very nice course with a variety of holes.
Very good condition and one of the best I have played recently.
Greens a little slower than others I have play in SD. But good roll and hold a ball well.
Bunkers beautiful and consistent.
I teed off at 11.00, PoP was ok and a marshal asked a slower group to let us play through.
Fringes of greens have been re-laid but did not cause any issues.

Relatively short course which has a variety of types of hole, including one or two where you need advice from someone who has played the course before.
Greens fast and true, but firmer although they will mostly hold a medium iron ok.
Fairways are ok with a few bare patches.
Tee boxes are a bit rough and uneven.
Not a lot of rough and some significant bare hard pan areas under trees.
