The Holiday season is upon us. I know this because jc resorts has jacked the greens fees up to full-blown holiday rates a week b4 xmas till after New Years. Thats not just the weekend-it's during the week! Every day is considered a holiday according to jc resorts,who offer not one bit of justification for their actions. Only reason I can think of is the obvious one-they are a bunch of bleeders looking to wring dollars out of us whenever they can. My only wish for that organization,besides a boycott, would be they wake up Christmas morn with lumps of coal in their stockings! Happy Holidays to everyone else!

south course is currently in the best shape I've seen it be in since the remodel a couple years ago.Greens are holding and sand traps are in good shape.Does anyone else agree that shifting superintendents from Balboa to Torrey pines (and vice versa) has anything to do with the improvements to the south course? Conversely I played Balboa couple weeks ago and it is in the WORST shape I've ever seen it in. I am a mens club member of both courses.
